Nuckel Properties owns, operates, and develops high-quality residential and retail real estate across northern New Jersey. Now in its third generation of family ownership, the company traces its roots to the 1960s, when our founder began building safe, quality housing for hardworking families in the region — a mission that continues to guide how we manage our communities today. Three generations of the Nuckel family have lived and worked in the communities we build. That history gives us a level of local knowledge and long-term accountability that's difficult to replicate. We take a hands-on, long-term approach to ownership, with direct oversight of our properties, disciplined capital planning, and steady reinvestment in the communities we manage.

Our Portfolio

Our portfolio spans over 14 properties and more than 1,100 residential units, from classic garden-style communities to newer mid-rise residences, alongside neighborhood retail centers that anchor the areas we serve. Our properties are located in some of the state's most convenient neighborhoods, close to shopping, transit, and everyday essentials — offering a home to fit a range of lifestyles. We think beyond the buildings we own — our work is about strengthening the neighborhoods around them.
